Larnaca airport meets the first troubles in the middle of May because of the derangement of one of the luggage transporter. Because of this matter the passengers have to wait for their luggage at the Larnaca airport. There were detected troubles with the luggage distribution at the departure zone as well. The airline's staff complaints that the airport do not corresponds to the norms, but unfortunately there have not been taken any arrangements. Some of the improvements have been implemented, but in general everything was the same. The head of the Civil Aviation Department cleared up the situation, explaining the main reason of the abroad flight delays: "We can accept 14 flights per hour. If one of the flights delays, then it plump into the next period, where already exists 14 flights, thus all these inconveniences happen."
